Material and Process
There are reasons why a material was chosen to use for manufacturing.
Recently materials have often been selected for the purpose of "convenience".
As a result, it was neglected and placed a burden on the manufacturing process.
We travelled round the world and visited people who continued to protect the manufacturing process and materials that they should have been.
Common trait is that they are particular about the production of the material itself.
"Organic" is one of our commitment to materials.
Under today's commercialism society, "organic" term is a luring phrase to sell.
Commercialism doesn’t bother about the process of producing "organic materials”, just obtaining "organic certification" has become the goal.
Obtaining "organic certification" has become a new business norm while it remains a new burden for honest farmers.
By personally visiting the production place and witnessing the process of the material with the farmers, we clearly recognized the correct procedure without being involved in the "certification business".
The main purpose of sticking to "organic" is to return to the original point and reducing the burden on farmers who produce the materials.
The cycle of purchasing pesticide resistance seeds every year and the physical burden to the farmer, the environment caused by spraying the pesticide which destroys the farmer's life and made it impossible to inherit the handwork there.
Unique handwork and native materials and techniques are slowly disappearing.
Instead of pursuing only convenience in a commercialism society, will you support the handwork that require time and effort into your life?
That will be a great encouragement for those who are still continuing their handwork at a corner of Asia.
