Handworks such as hand-spun, hand-weave and hand-dye are created in human’s lives to make us comfortable as they are made by human’s hands.
Like-minded friends felt rich if they can live with those comfortable handworks. These friends gathered in one team and we are called Aesthetic Material & Earth.
Now such handwork is hard to inherit.
In order for handwork to exist as a "sustainable social activity", we will work for you as a user, an artisan and as a producer with a conscious mind caring for the environment surrounding.
We have been looking for a chance to utilize the suitable materials and quality that are appropriate for handwork, and the rhythm of lives for the artisans who create them.
The rhythm of life is important. Usually "Products" are produced pressured by the delivery date and quantity, we respect the handwork made during the villagers’ or artisans’ precious time who live together with their families.
As a result, we can enjoy the durable rich handwork that was made with time and effort.
Our activities go back to the origin of "making and using it carefully" to ensure a sustainable production and consumption cycle. This in turn helps to reduce unnecessary wastage from over producing, the pressure on producers, and the burden on the environment.
